'Elma.res is missing' !

[b]Hi guys,
When I click on the icon of elma, it pops out a window saying 'elma.res is missing'.... and now I can't play the game... Any ideas whats gone wrong?

What has gone wrong is that you don't have the elma.res file, simple as that (duh).

If you have the CD of Elma, reinstall...
If you downloaded it on Kazaa or any website, re-download and copy back elma.res in your folder

Think it should work ! I had the same problems some time ago, the elma.res file just disappeared ...

I fixed the problem but then all the records and users are gone, just like a new game... any way I can fix that you think?

If you still have your state.dat file from the old installation, you can just copy that to your new installation.

I had the same thing happen to me when I clicked on the desktop icon. You might of changed the elastomania file name. To get the game working again right click on the icon and go to properties. Make sure the target is exactly where the real elme.exe game is on your computer.
If that doesnt work i dont know what to say.
