ResEdit Problem!!!!

I have a problem!
when i try use ResEdit on Elma 1.2
it says:Error Open!
Please tell me how can i use it?

First i downloaded it from net.I mean elastomania 1.2
then when i try open elma 1.2 it wont open!
and i have same problem in Resedit it wont open.I wonder why?

you do have elma.res put in?

Check if elma.res is write-protected or something as well.

Make sure that you have installed it right, according to the 1.2readme.txt whatever it's called.
