I set up a temporary Ventrilo voice chat server for elma people, come join if you want

Ok, i tried to fix it with help in irc, but it didn t work.

First, i needed to get newest version, wich i was told is 3.0.2 - but imo this is just server version and newest is 3.0.1 for client. So is this true, or do i need newer version, if yes, pls link.

I m quite sure i got user and server correct, made it many times.

When i press connect, nothing happens but the button changes to disconnect.

I didn t install ventrilo in default path, maybe that s the problem? Dont want to reinstall it another time, someone installed NOT on default and it works?

I just installed it on default; and everything worked fine.

Is the server online all the time? I sometimes have problems when I try to join my friend's server, it's working well otherwise but needs to be restarted before I can join.

Or could anyone else eventualy who have their computer/server on 24/7 host a ventrilo channel please?

It's a good voip, and i use it for every online game I play. So yeah, I guess I'm into it.

You can join a public server and create your own channel, with password if you want, on it. I can see how chatting whilst playing Belma or so would be nice, but I'm not that into small-talk. If you just want to talk about random things with someone, I don't think I'm your man.
