CEM '10 - Canadian Elma Meeting 2010

Hello,

Some of us Canadians already talked about it a bit. It would be really nice to have a CEM

As far as I know, the CEM could include:
- Memphis
- BoneLESS
- Mawane
- CMc (yeah, he's from United States, but whatever)
- Bismuth
- Black440 (he plays on belma since a week or so, he's my cousin and he likes elma pretty much, but hasn't registered on Moposite nor lauta, and will probably not come to a CEM for many reasons, but anyway, I write his name in case)
- Maybe if we could join Dynamo, twipley, simon_labroue... but I really don't know, maybe the HHIT members know more than me about them

I hope it will be organised somewhere in 2009, I think I remember Memphis saying he will go in the eastern Canada someday

Many questions stay: when, where, how, who, to be or not to be, etc.

Ya, Ciph and myself and possibly Agent00 could do a road trip across Canada and come visit. Probably somewhere around toronto would be the best meeting spot and then we could also pay a visit to the hockey hall of fame!

I must say, though, that I'm limited by the fact that I'm only 15

But I will get my driving lessons very soon, I will probably be able to drive alone in a year. But both time and place (Toronto) are a little far away, however... I don't think my parents would let me go 500 km to meet some random guys I met on the Internet

So for me, it would be easier at Montreal, you could go see the Canadiens hall of fame instead

If you guys all think Toronto or Quebec or whatever should be a better place, then I'll try to deal with it and come anyway, but it'll be a little tricky. Maybe Mawane can drive me

500 km isn't too much, you can say many guys in denmark went on those meetings even when they were 14.

Ok, I would really love to get this going, Dynamo is back, Juish is back, BoneLESS is still active sometimes, Mawane, Memphis, my cousin Blackster, and I, I guess it would make a good elma meeting.

Like Memphis said, the best meeting spot would probably be Toronto, since it's pretty close from Quebec (5 hours away from Montreal, 7½-8 from Quebec City, compared to the over 4000 km distance between Qc and BC). I don't quite know where we could all reunite, though. Visiting the NHL Hall of Fame would be nice, and since I've got elma on my laptop, for me it'd be easy to bring it and play.

To get there, Memphis said flights would be quite cheap, I've got my driving license, however maybe my parents would not let me go meet a bunch of 20-year-old guys from every corner of Canada. Maybe if I tell them I'm going to the NHL Hall of Fame and meet some people, it'll be okay. Anyway, I think we could do some "covoiturage ", since, let's say the 4 kuskis from Quebec are coming, Black drives from La Baie to Quebec, then Bone and Black from Quebec to Shawinigan to take Mawane, then they stop to the Perrot Island to take me and we go to Toronto singing mawrap all the way.

Please share your thoughts on that! Personnally, with college, I've got many disponibilities in January 2010, and from late May to early August 2010.
