The procrastination topic

Post by Igge »

There are several things I should be doing, but instead of doing them I'm procrastinating. Since I know for a fact I should be doing those other things, I don't want to start doing anything time consuming right now. Instead, I'm just refreshing forums, waiting for new posts. I keep thinking I will start working the second I've finished my next post, but instead I keep refreshing the other forums.

And so, this behavior has leaved me extremely bored. I can't play a game or do anything I think is fun, since that would take up too much of my valuable time during which I should be working. Therefore, I need something else to do whilst procrastinating. I need something boring I can waste my time on in between refreshing forums.

Please help me.

I went to sleep after making that post, and woke up now. I thought there would be less forum activity during the night, hence I could get more work done. : D

I have a math thing to do, should take about two hours, and physics, should take about 2-3 hours. I also have the residence's summer party (which I organised, so impsy not going) starting in two hours. Oh, and two programming projects that I didn't begin doing, due date: Tuesday May 11 :)

Thank you abruzzi, but, to give you an example of my days, I will tell you what I did yesterday: I had two classes and finished at 1 pm, then I went to play football with 10 other friends for about two hours, then I slept a little bit and then worked on my math. After that, I went to the summer party (I had managed to get about 40 people to come), we ate burritos, played soccer and had a water balloons fight. After that, we watched movies with a projector on couches and I was with that very nice girl from the 5th floor who was happy I had brought my comforter (wiki'd this last word by the way, may sound weird).

In my opinion, this is not a typical day of an unsociable lazy virgin internet nerd, and I believe insulting unknown people across the world via internet is most probably a behaviour that fits more this description.

Yeah, bis, don't listen to him. It's all me. I really am an asocial virgin nerd who only sits in front of the computer all day. I have no friends whatsoever, and my family doesn't like me. I'm all alone with my imaginary internet friends and my geeky games. I wish I could go back and re-live my life and turn out like berh instead.

I have no life, and I love it.
