based on one custom-created map in Warcraft 3 called Defense of the Ancients (DotA) - two teams (5 players each team, 1 hero each player) fight on square map. Goal is to destroy the ancient of the opposing team. Do so by destroying towers, killing enemy heroes. Buy items and gain exp to be better.
Now Valve corporation is making Dota 2 - same playability, same game, but new engine, new graphics, and its independent game, not run as warcraft map. Needs steam to work - needs beta key to download. That is what i give free.
also my avatar shows the two teams in corners and the river crossing the map into 2 halfs.
